Όλες οι σειρές θα συναγωνιστούν στα 77α Emmys και η ανατροπή με τις πλατφόρμες streaming.
Οι υποψηφιότητες για τα 77α βραβεία Emmy αποκαλύφθηκαν την Τρίτη. Η πλήρης λίστα ανακοινώθηκε από την πρωταγωνίστρια του Running Point Brenda Song και τον ηθοποιό του What We Do in the Shadows Harvey Guillén.
Η σειρά Severance της Apple TV+ ήταν η σειρά με τις περισσότερες υποψηφιότητες, καθώς συγκέντρωσε 27 υποψηφιότητες. Ακολουθεί η σειρά The Penguin του HBO Max με 24 υποψηφιότητες. Το The Studio και το The White Lotus ισοβάθμησαν στην τρίτη θέση με 23 υποψηφιότητες το καθένα.
Μεταξύ των δικτύων και των streamers, το HBO Max ηγήθηκε με 142 συνολικές υποψηφιότητες, ένα νέο ρεκόρ για την πλατφόρμα, ακολουθούμενο από το Netflix με 120 και το Apple TV+ με 81. Το Warner Bros. Television Group, το οποίο όπως και το CNN ανήκει στην Warner Bros. Discovery, απέσπασε 60 υποψηφιότητες - τις περισσότερες από κάθε τηλεοπτικό στούντιο φέτος.
