Τόσα πολλά μουσεία τόσος λίγος χρόνος

Η ταινία "Μια Νύχτα στο Μουσείο" με πρωταγωνιστές τον Ben Stiller και τον αξέχαστο Robin Williams, περιγράφει ακριβώς την μαγική ατμόσφαιρα που επικρατεί στον χώρο αυτό. Η περιήγηση στους διαδρόμους με τα εκθέματα, ο ενθουσιασμός του να βλέπεις για πρώτη φορά από κοντά διάσημα έργα τέχνης αλλά και να παρατηρείς άλλους ανθρώπους γύρω σου να κοιτούν τα εκθέματα είναι κάποιοι από τους λόγους που σε κάνουν να ερωτεύεσαι αμέσως ένα μουσείο.

Όπως οι βιβλιοθήκες έτσι και τα μουσεία προσφέρουν ατελείωτη γνώση με μία και μόνο επίσκεψη. Ανακαλύπτοντας τους θησαυρούς του είναι ένας τρόπος να έρθεις σε επαφή με αρχαίους πολιτισμούς, να μάθεις περισσότερα για σημαντικούς καλλιτέχνες και κυρίως να πάρεις έμπνευση.

Κάποιες φορές όμως είναι δύσκολο να τα επισκεφτούμε, ειδικά αυτά που βρίσκονται στο εξωτερικό, και γι αυτό αρκεί να τα αναζητήσεις στο Instagram. Μερικά από τα πιο διάσημα μουσεία του πλανήτη διαθέτουν λογαριασμούς με υπέροχη αισθητική και δημιουργούν το αίσθημα μιας εικονικής περιήγησης.

Wes Anderson and Juman Malouf have chosen this painting of a cat to be on view within ‘Spitzmaus Mummy in a Coffin and other Treasures’. It was stored in the depot of @schlossambras.innsbruck before. We are glad it is on view now, and in such good company: Spitzmaus Mummy in a Coffin, the glass Jellyfish from @nhmwien, which we shared here yesterday, and many other animals are surrounding it. Did you already visit the exhibition? And did you notice that the cat is located opposite the painting of a ‘Jumping Mouse’ and hence looking down at her? 😉 We detected a lot of fascinating details like this. Some of them come to our mind after wandering through the exhibition. Yves Saint Laurent was born on this day in 1936. This ensemble, titled "Statuary Vestment for the Virgin of El Rocio,” was designed in Yves Saint Laurent’s workrooms in collaboration with jeweler Goossens. It was commissioned for a statute of the Virgin in the Chapel of Notre-Dame de Compassion in Paris and features a gold silk brocade dress. #GeorgeCondo at Cycladic {foll eng} Το Μουσείο Κυκλαδικής Τέχνης παρουσιάζει την πρώτη μεγάλη ατομική μουσειακή έκθεση του George Condo στην Ελλάδα. Η έκθεση περιλαμβάνει 30 έργα- ζωγραφικά, γλυπτά και σχέδια- τα οποία καλύπτουν τα τελευταία 20 χρόνια πορείας του αμερικανού καλλιτέχνη ▪▪▪▪▪ Ο Condo – μαζί με τον Jean-Michel Basquiat, τον Keith Haring και τον Jeff Koons– συνέβαλε καταλυτικά στην αναβίωση της αναπαραστατικής ζωγραφικής στην Αμερική τη δεκαετία του ’80 και θεωρείται ένας από τους σημαντικότερους αμερικανούς γλύπτες και αναπαραστατικούς ζωγράφους μέχρι σήμερα. Ανήκει σε μια γενιά καλλιτεχνών οι οποίοι επανήλθαν στην παραστατική ζωγραφική παρότι δημιούργησαν σε μια εποχή, μετά τον Αφηρημένο Εξπρεσιονισμό, όπου η Εννοιολογική Τέχνη και ο Μινιμαλισμός μεσουρανούσαν στο καλλιτεχνικό προσκήνιο.  __________ The Museum of Cycladic Art hosts the first large personal museum exhibition in Greece. The exhibition presents a total of 30 works -including paintings, sculptures and drawings - which span the past 20 years of the artist’s career. ▪▪▪▪▪ Condo, along with Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, and Jeff Koons, was instrumental in reviving figuration in America in the 1980s and is considered one of the most important American figurative sculptors and painters to this day.
